This is my brand-new blog on most things I like on Disney, but especially Goofy, Pinocchio, and, in some cases, Disneyland.
Why such a description? Because it brings to mind the name of the supposed climax of Muppet*Vision 3D, courtesy of Sam the Eagle, called "A Salute To All Nations, But Mostly America".
The term "Pixie Dust Pastiche" is an alliterative phrase, the pixie dust being associated almost cliche-like with Disney, and "pastiche" having two meanings: first, "a literary, artistic, musical, or architectural work that imitates the style of previous work"; second, "a musical, literary, or artistic composition made up of selections from different works" (or "potpourri" or "hodgepodge"). This blog emphasizes the second meaning.
Anyway, to give you an idea of the fact that Goofy and Pinocchio figure quite prominently in this blog, here is a shot of some of the Toons from "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" (a great movie, by the way), where in one shot, you can clearly see Goofy and Pinocchio together (along with other Toons like Jose Carioca, Bambi, Wile E. Coyote, the Road Runner, Daffy Duck, Droopy and Baby Herman):
Anyway, that's the basic gist of Pixie Dust Pastiche, a look at most things Disney. Have a look around!
