Stay safe, WDW!

My condolences go out to Walt Disney World, which is right in the path of Hurricane Irma, it seems. According to this article here, http://www.themeparkinsider.com/flume/201709/5712/, Walt Disney World and all Central Florida attraction venues, including Universal and Sea World, will be shut down on Sunday and Monday as the hurricane bears down. Monday is 9/11, the exact same date, ironically, that the parks all shut down in response to the terrorist attacks sixteen years ago! This is not only the theme parks, but also all water parks (obviously) and shopping districts. The resorts, however, will remain open and provide shelter.

Here is a list of what exactly is happening right now:

I heard that Cinderella Castle was built to last forever, but does it include a hurricane like this? And will the rest of the resort's tall structures, like Spaceship Earth and the Tower of Terror, be able to withstand the storm? In any case, Central Florida (which is also where I have an aunt and uncle, who live in Tampa) has my condolences. Stay safe!
