The old and the new - for its time

Over the weekend, I went to this presentation at the theater in the Walt Disney Family Museum in San Francisco, which was hosted by Tony Anselmo (the voice of Donald Duck) and Bill Farmer (the voice of Goofy). They did a presentation on voice acting and their lives at Disney, and then opened up first to a Q&A session, and finally to an autograph signing.

As part of this event, they showed this one clip of the two voices of Donald, Clarence Nash and Tony Anselmo, together. This was in 1984, the year of Donald's 50th birthday. It was so cool hearing their respective Donald voices together, as they recited dialog from an old cartoon. Oh, and Wayne Allwine (the then-new voice of Mickey Mouse) was there, too, apparently.

Being as today is Donald's birthday, I thought I would share this video. Enjoy!

Happy birthday, Donald Duck!
